I've been warily excited about this book (something was holding me back) but your fantastic review has me wanting to run to the bookstore tomorrow! It's always impressive when a debut author can make you forget it is their first book. There is nothing better than an immersive, lush fantasy reading experience. So glad you loved the book!Morgan @ The Bookish Beaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05455877395068242798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3950979514940131182.post-10566112520317988712016-04-23T17:38:02.645-07:002016-04-23T17:38:02.645-07:00I can see why the pacing might be an issue; it jus...I can see why the pacing might be an issue; it just wasn't one for me. But I am glad that at least some of the book was enjoyable for you. And I had no idea there was even a companion novel possibility! That gives me something to look forward to from this author.Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08996840003306047763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3950979514940131182.post-45252576626998593392016-04-23T15:33:43.044-07:002016-04-23T15:33:43.044-07:00Roshani has a serious knack for storytelling. As I stated in my review, I had some trouble with the pacing. Aside from some minor flaws, I rather enjoyed this book and can't wait for her companion novel, as I know now that this is a standalone novel. So glad you enjoyed it though!

Alex @ The Book's Buzz The Book's Buzzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00787038277680033672noreply@blogger.com
